Table A: VPGE-Administered Fellowships
Most CCSRE, SGF, SIGF, and Zhang fellowships are three-year awards, with the exception of some two-year SGF awards. The standard configuration of a CCSRE, SGF, or Zhang award covers minimum full-time enrollment (8, 9, or 10 units) and stipend for four quarters each year. CCSRE, SGF, and Zhang pay reduced tuition amounts for those students eligible for terminal graduate registration (TGR) or graduation quarter. Amounts for the School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Education eleven-quarter modified CCSRE, SGF, and Zhang plans are also listed. For both plans, quarters 1-3 are funded at maximum tuition rate (11-18 units), and quarters 4-11 are funded at minimum full-time (8, 9, or 10 units of tuition).
The SIGF award covers minimum full-time enrollment (8, 9, or 10 units) for autumn, winter, and spring, three units in the summer and stipend all four quarters for years one and two.
The configuration for DARE (two-year award) and Lieberman (one-year award) Fellowships is TGR tuition and stipend for four quarters. Summer quarter enrollment is required for the student to be paid the stipend.
