Congratulations, 2023-2024 Graduates!

Congratulations to our Stanford graduates!

Dear Stanford Graduate,

On behalf of all my colleagues in the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education (VPGE), congratulations on completing your Stanford graduate degree! Please take a moment to celebrate this significant achievement, and allow me to share my appreciation and admiration of  your success.

You are joining a community of over 230,000 Stanford alumni at a time when our world faces generational challenges – climate change, public health crises, and social inequality, to name a few. I hope you will leverage your talent, dedication, and compassion to empower others through your work as well as through civic engagement and advocacy. I also hope you will become mentors and supporters of those around you, showing what it takes to be successful and demonstrating how to care for others – exactly what it means to be part of the Stanford community.

Stanford will continue to support you as you take the next steps of your journey. I encourage you to sign up for your free Stanford Pass account to access a vast wealth of Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) resources and connect you with a deep network of fellow alumni. Additionally, the Stanford Alumni Association and Stanford Career Education (CareerEd) have teamed up to offer you further support through the Stanford PlusFive program. If you are not sure where to start, PlusFive will provide you in these next five years after graduation with excellent career development coaching and critical resources.

Thank you for choosing Stanford as your home for your graduate studies. It has been a privilege to support your growth and your journey. We look forward to hearing about your successes in the next chapter of your life.

Warm regards,
Stacey
