Alexander Bruess

As Assistant Director of Fellowships, Alexander supports various aspects of VPGE Fellowship administration, including fellow selection, funding, and communications. Prior to working in VPGE, he graduated from Stanford’s CEAS M.A. program and moved to Japan to develop and instruct English education programs. 

Alexander is passionate about higher education and international relations. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering with organizations that connect local and international communities. He also enjoys hiking along the coast and exploring San Francisco.
