Gabe Barrón

Gabe Barrón is a 4th year Immunology PhD candidate in the Howitt Lab. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with honors. At Stanford, he continues his passion for barrier immunology by studying how the immune system mounts antibody responses toward the diverse array of materials that move through the gut. His research is supported by the Ford Foundation Pre-doctoral Fellowship administered through the National Academy of Sciences and Stanford’s Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowship. Outside of research, Gabe is passionate about ceramics, reading fiction and photography.
