Grace Zhong

Grace received her BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto in 2018, and is currently a PhD candidate in Bioengineering, advised by Dr. Manu Prakash.  She is broadly interested in asking – and inspiring others to ask – curiosity-driven questions in non-model organisms that open up less known spaces in biology. She enjoys spending time in nature, and is always subconsciously searching for interesting critters to examine under the microscope. She is passionate about women’s health, art history & archaeological science, and Asian & Asian American studies, and continues to find ways to incorporate these passions into her academic and personal life trajectories.
