Richard Struck

Richard (he/him) joined VPGE in 2023 as Policy and Communications Coordinator. In this role, he assists in managing projects related to policy and coordinating official communications for the Vice Provost of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs, senior VPGE staff, and campus partners. 

Richard holds a BA and MA in linguistics from San José State University. He holds experience in a variety of industries including healthcare and education. Prior to joining VPGE, he served in student affairs at San José State University, coordinating first-year undergraduate experience programs and working with students on identifying, roadmapping, and achieving academic goals towards educational, professional, and personal aspirations.

Outside of Stanford, Richard wrestles with his dog Ari, enjoying long walks in the sun, and reading about the relationship between language and cultural identity.
