Working with the Graduate Life Office (GLO), CAs work to foster a sense of community among graduate students living in on-campus housing by planning and coordinating a variety of social, educational, and recreational events throughout the year.     Co-sponsored by the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology, this Clayman Institute study analyzes the barriers to the retention and advancement of women in technology in Silicon Valley. It identifies women in mid-level positions as at the most critical juncture of the career ladder, given that gender-related barriers tend to converge here.
