    Offered through the School of Engineering, the Technical Communication Program seeks to help students improve their technical writing and speaking skills. Writing tutors from the Technical Communication Program can help students from all disciplines with short-term projects like job applications, statements of purpose, and short papers. Note that instruction is emphasized during these sessions, and tutors are not an editing service. Open to all students; appointments can be made online.

    For confidential, 24/7 support, visit the Bridge Peer Counseling Center. As Stanford's student-run peer counseling center, the Bridge offers free, anonymous counseling to all members of the Stanford community. Staffed by trained undergraduate and graduate students, the center aims to provide help and support to those who need it.
